Gary L. Barr is Senior Of Counsel Grant | Shenon, with over 40-years of legal experience focusing on outside general counsel matters and all forms of business, real estate and commercial law and litigation. As outside general counsel for individuals and small and mid-size businesses, Gary works to thoroughly understand the culture of each client’s business, and develops strategic plans based on the business needs and nuances of each client. His clients range from individuals to small businesses to national and multi-national corporations, including banks and financing companies, real estate developers, real estate brokers, property management businesses, manufacturers, trust companies, law firms, and many others throughout California and the world. Gary’s approach to all clients is simple: Listen carefully to the client’s needs and service preferences and provide each with competent, effective, cost-appropriate legal representation with individualized service.
Gary is also a long-time member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Pierce College, a former President of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, former President of the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce and former Chairperson of the California Manufactured Housing Institute. Gary has served on numerous other Boards over his long career.
