Supports students in the Pierce College Veterinary Technology program with direct program costs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Enrolled in Pierce College Veterinary Technology program
- Good academic standing (2.5+ GPA)
- Demonstrated financial need
- Funds used for program-related costs (tuition, vaccinations, fees, books, equipment, scrubs, exam prep)

Pierce-Krost CPAs/KBKG Scholarship
For students in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics with Umoja Program affiliation.
Eligibility Requirements
- 2.5+ GPA
- Umoja Program affiliation
- 6+ units enrollment
- Interest in internships/mentorships
Bernard Osher Scholarship
Need-based support to keep students enrolled and progressing toward their degree or transfer.
Eligibility Requirements
- Completed 24+ degree-applicable semester units
- Enrolled at least half time (6+ units)
- California College Promise Grant recipient
- Maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- Continue enrollment at half time or approved reduced load
Dr. Kassem Nabulsi Memorial Scholarship
For Political Science students, with preference for those focused on International Relations.

Supports students in addiction recovery who are staying in school and moving forward.

- Two consecutive 6-unit semesters OR one 12-unit semester

Marilyn and Stewart Robb Memorial Scholarship
Honors Marilyn and Stewart Robb by supporting students engaged in Political Science and civic understanding.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in at least one Political Science course at Pierce College
- One-page minimum (600 words) single-spaced essay: 'How Do You Plan to Make a Positive Impact on the World? What is Your Plan?'

Step-by-Step Application Guide
Access the Portal
Log into your account at mycollege.laccd.edu using your student ID and password.
Navigate to Scholarships
From your Student Homepage, select "Key Links & Help," then choose "Scholarships."
Enter NextGen Platform
You'll be redirected to the NextGen scholarship platform and prompted to "Login Here" under Student Login.
Review Available Scholarships
The main page displays scholarships matching your eligibility based on your profile criteria. Many questions will be auto-populated with your data from the Student Information System.
Submit Applications
Select desired scholarships and complete applications. Some scholarships require supplementary materials such as letters of recommendation, financial need verification, or essays completed online.
After Selection
Winners must send a thank you letter to the scholarship donor before funds release. Scholarships are disbursed through Bank Mobile 2-3 months after selection. Recipients must claim awards within 60 days or funds return to the Foundation.
