Yeprem DavoodianCommunications Chair
Yeprem Davoodian is associate faculty member in the Department of Communication Studies at Los Angeles Pierce College. Currently, he is the Department Chair for Communication Studies and Teacher Education. Additionally, he is the Director for the Honors Transfer Program. Yeprem received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge. Prior to being hired as a tenure track faculty, he taught at Pierce College (since 2007), Santa Monica College, Pasadena Community College, and California State University, Northridge. Furthermore, he was the Coordinator in the Office of International and Exchange Student Center at CSUN where he developed and implemented educational and social programming for the University’s international student population. Yeprem has taught courses in Group Communication, Non-Native Public Speaking, Public Speaking, Argumentation, and Interpersonal Communication. He enjoys an active lifestyle, cycling, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends. His research interests are in international education, public deliberation, media, and propaganda. |
